OSB Federal Pleading and Practice Committee Presentation: Heightened Pleading Standards after Ashcroft v. Iqbal
Please join us for our monthly luncheon Thursday, January 19. The OSB Federal Pleading and Practice Committee will be giving a presentation. Judge John Acosta, Lewis and Clark Law School Professor Ed Brunet and Art Schmidt from the Oregon Law Center will discuss the implications of the heightened pleading standards described by the U.S. Supreme Court’s decisions in Ashcroft v. Iqbal, 556 U.S. 662 (U.S. 2009) and Bell Atl. Corp. v. Twombly, 550 U.S. 544 (U.S. 2007).
